About Us
Welcome to Crunched Gifts!
My name is Cassandra Jovic and I love making and buying people perfect gifts and I want to help other people find the perfect gifts for their loved ones so I decided to start this little blog .
I am going to do some generalised guides on what to buy people for certain occasions and general interest groups as well as giving personalised advice to people who need a bit more help finding the perfect gift.
Now you may ask what qualifies me for this kind of task, surely present buying is very subjective and highly individualised to the people involved! My basic credentials are;
- I love shopping
- I have always been the nominated present buyer at work
- Craft is a long held obsession and I regularly make people gifts
- I studied Journalism at University
- I used to be a PA and I am good at organising other people
Now you still may not be convinced, however I know if you follow some general rules, have a really good think about it and do some homework anyone can buy the perfect gift, just stick with me and I will show you how.
At the same time as writing this blog I am also opening a shop, now I know this sounds like a handful and you would be right but I recently entered a competition to win a pop up shop for 3 months and amazingly I co-won, so I get half of a massive shop space for the next 3 months.
The shop is also called Crunched Gifts and is going to be in Birmingham City Centre (UK) in a complex called “The Square” . Obviously it is a gift shop but with a bit of a difference, all of the gifts are homemade by myself or other local crafts people, and we will be selling kits and teaching classes so people can learn how to make there own gifts for their loved ones.
I will be blogging about my experiences setting up the shop and the trials and tribulations I experience along the way.
Now you may ask how one person can do all of this, well I cant so helping me along the way are going to be my brother Nathaniel and my husband Mark who are both amazingly talented!

I really hope you enjoy my blog and I welcome any queries or suggestions I am here to help!
